Funded through sale of its old site at Cricketers Way to Sainsbury’s Supermarket, the relocation to new facilities at the St Georges Oval on Cappadocia Way has transformed Westhoughton Cricket Club. With a spectacular new clubhouse, new cricket ground, car park and practice facilities, this is certainly now one of the premier cricket clubs in the northwest of England.

Relocation to new site, providing a premier league sized cricket ground with 20 wicket square, new junior rugby pitch, landscaping, new clubhouse with 4 changing rooms, 2 social rooms and commercial kitchen, new cricket nets and car park.

Search for new site, looking at 10 different locations.
Full feasibility study and cost information.
All plans, elevations, site layouts and specifications.
Submission of planning applications.
Public consultation exercise.
Liaison with Sainsbury.
All architectural work and project management, including tender action and appointment of ground and building contractors.
Financial schedules to committee on monthly basis throughout construction phase.
